Criminal District Attorney Richard Glaser reports that on Thursday, March 24, 2011, the Fannin County grand jury met to consider thirty-nine (39) cases.  Thirty-seven (37) cases were true billed or indicted.  So far in 2011, the grand jury has returned 110 true bills of indictment.

It is important to note that an indictment is a formal charge and should not be considered as evidence of guilt and that all persons charged with a crime are presumed innocent until proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt.
