Cowboys Stadium receives Build Texas Award

DALLAS - The Construction Association presented HKS, Inc., Blue Star Development and Manhattan Construction with the 2010 Build Texas Award for Cowboys Stadium at an awards dinner held April 21 at the stadium.  This award recognizes projects that bring national attention to the state of Texas. 

Cowboys Stadium, designed by HKS Sports & Entertainment Group, is the largest NFL venue ever built.  The 3 million-square-foot stadium has an approximate capacity of 80,000 fans and boasts the most spectacular column-free room in the world, stretching a quarter-mile in length. 

TEXO, the largest commercial contractors’ association in Texas, represents commercial contractors in North and East Texas and works to build a unified construction community by promoting loyalty and leadership.
