Unlawful possession of firearm charges increase

Criminal District Attorney Richard Glaser reports that on Thursday, April 8, 2010, the Fannin County grand jury met to consider fifteen (15) cases.  Fourteen (14) cases were true billed or indicted.  So far in 2010, the grand jury has returned 66 true bills of indictment.

Of interest this month was a criminal nonsupport case filed by the Attorney General’s Office in which the defendant was in arrears in excess of $27,000.
