WHAT: Open of 2010 training camp  

WHEN: 7:00 a.m. Monday, March 15, 2010 

WHERE: John Clark Stadium, Plano, TX 

The Dallas Vigilantes will begin their inaugural training camp on Monday, March 15, at John Clark Stadium in Plano, TX. Clark Stadium will serve as the Vigilantes’ training camp home, as well as the team’s practice facility during the regular season. Training camp practice sessions will run from 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. All practices are open to the media and the general public. Media are encouraged to visit training camp and acquire B-roll and interview players and coaches. The 2010 season marks the return of the Arena Football League after a one-year hiatus. It also marks the return of Arena Football to the Dallas-Ft. Worth Metroplex. The Vigilantes feature a number of all-AFL players, including a number of former Dallas Desperados, the AFL’s previous team in the market. 

ABOUT THE DALLAS VIGILANTES

The Dallas Vigilantes are bringing Arena Football back to the Dallas-Ft. Worth Metroplex this spring when they take the field at the world-class American Airlines Center. The Vigilantes are owned and operated by Peter C. “Woody” Kern, a resident of Pilot Point, TX, and one of the most successful owners in the history of the AFL. Kern previously owned the Tampa Bay Storm for 14 years, where his club won three ArenaBowl championships and appeared in four title games.
