Proclamation - CITY OF BONHAM
WHEREAS, throughout the City of Bonham women make immeasurable contributions to our economy and society by being leaders in the community and in businesses and by using their innovation and achievements to enrich our city in many ways; and,
WHEREAS, the Business and Professional Women of Bonham was founded in 1981 and became the Texas Business Women of Bonham in 2009; and,
WHEREAS, as a state organization, the Texas Business Women maintain the mission of providing resources for leadership, networking, and advocacy to empower women to succeed personally and professionally.
NOW, THEREFORE, ON BEHALF OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BONHAM, TEXAS, AND IN RECOGNITION HEREWITH, I OFFICIALLY PROCLAIM AND DECLARE March 21st – 27th, 2010 as Texas Business Women of Bonham Week in the City of Bonham, Texas and encourage all citizens of Bonham to pay tribute to hardworking women our great city, recognizing their invaluable expertise, impressive drive, and ingenuity in achieving the highest levels of success.
