Park Place Motorcars hosts Legends of Basketball

Park Place Motorcars Dallas and Get R.E.A.L. (Resources Empowering Athletes for Life) hosted the Legends of Basketball Casino Night on the eve of the 2010 NBA All-Star game, honoring Moses Malone and benefiting the Dave DeBusschere National Basketball Retired Players Association (NBRPA) Scholarship Fund.

In addition to Hall of Famer Moses Malone, retired professional basketball players attending included Willie Davis, Aaron James, Major Jones, Bob Love, LaRue Martin, Willie Norwood, Robert Reid, Ollie Taylor and Willie Webb. Sponsors included Ben E. Keith Beverages, Louis XIII de Remy Martin, Lombardo Custom Apparel and Bella Bar & Restaurant.

The NBRPA is a non-profit organization comprised of former professional basketball players of the NBA, ABA and Harlem Globetrotters. The Association's mission is to promote basketball and enhance the sport's image by assisting Members in building community relationships and fostering support for charitable activities. Get R.E.A.L. provides athletic professionals with the resources and expertise to develop a plan that enables an athlete to manage their life and maximize their worth in every stage of their career.
