(NOTE:  This event was previously scheduled for March 1.)
Session 5 -- Topic: Leadership

March 29, 2010  |  6pm

The February Design Practice Academy session has been moved to Monday, March 29.  Please join us for a panel discussion as local leaders in the design and construction industries discuss the challenges of leadership in their fields.

The UT Arlington Design Practice Academy is a series of informative events-lectures, panel, workshops—focusing on timely topics useful to young professionals in the design professions. As most interns quickly realize there is a great deal of information not covered in academic curricula but useful to their career success. The mission of the DPA is to address these issues in a succinct and lively manner.

A Design Practice Academy event will be held the last Monday of each month during the regular academic fall and spring semesters. In the future, topics will range broadly, but the 2009-2010 theme is: “Things you need to know, but nobody’s told you yet.”

There is no charge for attendance and the event is open to students and professionals.
