McKINNEY, Texas – Since February is the month we observe Valentine's Day and President`s Day, what better way to celebrate than with a fun look at the romances of presidents and first ladies.

Grab your sweetheart, and bring them at 7 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 19 to the North Texas History Center to hear Don Newsom, former Celina ISD superintendent and NTHC board vice chairman, present "Presidential Love."

Newsom will discuss the lovely – and sometimes unusual – relationships between presidents and their wives, which you might not have read about in history books.

“There have been numerous presidents that, in the public eye, have had great relationships with their wives, but no one knew there were also significant others in the picture." said Newsom.

Tickets for this event are $7.50 for one child, $10 for one adult, $15 for two, and $20 for a family of four (two adults, two children). You can purchase tickets in the online gift shop at www.northtexashistorycenter.org, at the North Texas History Center, which is located at 300 E. Virginia, McKinney, TX 75069, or by calling (972) 542-9457 ext. 100. All proceeds benefit the NTHC.
