Supporting the SPCA of Texas, Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children and Big Brothers Big Sisters of North Texas
Three 'GMC Terrain Charity Challenge' Ambassadors from the SPCA of Texas, Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children and Big Brothers Big Sisters of North Texas will be on site at the North East Mall in Hurst Saturday competing for a portion of the $20,000 'GMC Terrain Charity Challenge' prize.
Throughout this week, each Ambassador received a partial list of 11 scavenger hunt items. The Ambassadors have posted the items on their individual Facebook walls to tell friends to bring them to the Scavenger Hunt event on Saturday, December 5, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at North East Mall in Hurst.
The first Ambassador whose Facebook friends deliver all 11 Scavenger Hunt items-- loads the items into his/her Terrain and then posts a picture of the loaded Terrain to the GMC Facebook wall - will win $350 for their charity. The second prize is $100 and the third prize is $50.
Additionally, the first friend arriving with each of the first 10 items will win a $25 gift card.
Revealed items include:
· 20 pound container of kitty litter (donated to SPCA)
· A pair of movie passes or tickets to a family event (donated to Big Brothers Big Sisters of North Texas)
· A pair of snow ski's (they will be returned to owner)
· A person who is at least 6 feet tall (The person must stay until all the items are gathered and will be loaded into the back seat for the Facebook photo.)
· A new baby doll (donated to Texas Scottish Rite Hospital)
· A new board game (donated to Big Brothers Big Sisters of North Texas)
A total of 9 items will be announced through Friday, with the 2 final items being announced at the beginning of Saturday's event. Ambassadors will need assistance from their charities and supporters to attain these items.
The 'GMC Terrain Charity Challenge' crew will also be giving away additional prizes to those bringing Scavenger Hunt items in support of the competing charities. Prizes include: SMU Mustang basketball tickets to upcoming home games, Dallas Stars tickets and parking for December home games, t-shirts, koozies, hats and magnets.

HISTORY:
Three Dallas/Fort Worth charities, and their Ambassadors, are currently competing for a portion of the $20,000 'GMC Terrain Charity Challenge' prize.
The three 'GMC Terrain Charity Challenge' Ambassadors each received a 2010 GMC Terrain crossover SUV, a $400 gas card and a Flip video camera to document their GMC Terrain driving experience.
The Ambassadors will participate in various competitions and campaign on www.facebook.com/GMCDFW to win a share of $20,000 for their charity.
Every day through December 20, the $20,000 'GMC Terrain Charity Challenge' is giving away a $25 gift card to a lucky fan on www.facebook.com/GMCDFW. Everyone who votes is entered to win a $1000 gift card.
