Bells -- Despite four three-point shots and a game-high 16 points by Ector's Mallory Mayo, the Bells Lady Panthers improved to 3-0 on the season with a 50-33 win over the Lady Eagles.

Bells had three players put up double figures to offset Mayo's performance.  The Lady Panthers were led by Macie Robinson's 14 points, but Lauren Moore and Hannah Scoggins were close behind with 13 points and 12 points, respectively.

Bells had a 13-7 lead after the opening period, but Mayo canned a triple and then dropped in three free throws after getting fouled at the arc as Ector began closing the gap.  A three-pointer by Mayo as the second period ended trimmed the Bells lead to 25-20.

A triple by Mayo to start the third period made it a two-point game and a bucket by Kristina Williams tied the contest, 25-25.

Bells went back on top when Scoggins hit a key basket and Robinson scored on a breakaway.  The Lady Panthers pulled in front by 11 points, 37-26, going into the fourth quarter and finished strong to win, 50-33.
