The Red River Historical Museum, 301 S. Walnut in Sherman, will host the sixth edition of "Evening of Texana" on Thursday, November 19 at 7:00pm. The event will offer three entertaining selections from contemporary Texas literature, read aloud. The readings are chosen to include humor, pathos and a definite Texas touch, and are not recommended for children.

"Evening of Texana" is coordinated by Sue Malnory and sponsored by the museum.  There is no charge for admission but the museum accepts donations very gratefully! Refreshments will be served.

Readers again this year will be Margie Morris, Ginger Nye and John West. Margie Morse is owner of Morris Ink which provides public relations services including writing, publicity, marketing, training, image enhancement and relationship building. Ginger Nye is Director of Marketing for American Bank of Texas. John West is the College Librarian and Director of Austin College Abell Library.
