Our August 1 bluegrass event will feature The Full Quiver from the Collinsville area (formerly knows as The Grubb Family). There are nine in the band with parents, John who plays the banjo, and Shawn playing the rhythm guitar. The children range in age from 22 down to 7 and include Christina, autoharp, Melody, fiddle, Faith, mandolin, John, lead guitar, bass, James, bass, Abigail, mandolin, and Joshi, guitar. All sing.
 
The Upper Grassmen, our house band, will also perform. Members include Randy Keister, dobro, Don Sharp, bass, Brad Allen, banjo, Ricky Nelson, mandolin, and Vance Jones, guitar. All members sing.
Admission for this event is $5 per adult with children under 12 admitted free with an adult. Doors open at 6 and the show will begin at 7 P.M. Sandwiches and refreshments are available at the snack bar.
 
Our regular Bluegrass jam will be Thursday night, July 30, at 7 pm. Doors will open at 6 as usual. Donations will be accepted at the door to defray expenses.
 
The Chrystal Opry House is located 1.5 miles west of Tom Bean or 6 miles east of Howe on FM 902 and a half mile south on White Mound Road. No alcohol is permitted and there is no smoking inside the building.
