Joanna Megumi Jones was born at 11:34 am on Monday, June 29, 2009 at Good Shepherd Hospital in Longview.  She weighed 6 pounds, 7 ounces, and measured 19 inches. 

Joanna is the daughter of Jennifer and John Jones of Kilgore.  Jennifer and her daughter are doing fine and John is justifiably proud. 

Grandparents for the first time are Fred and Nancy Winters of Hughes Springs and Edward and Kyoko Jones of Yokohama, Japan.
