The Outlaws 14U select baseball team finished their season at the Super Series State Tournament on June 14. The Outlaws run-ruled the Dallas Panthers in their first pool play game by a score of 10-0 in 4 innings.
The next game was against a very good Texas Scorpions team. The Outlaws jumped out to 5-0 lead in the first, but the Scorpions bats couldn't be silenced and the Outlaws were defeated 9-6.
After seeding in the middle of the pack the Outlaws faced the Brown County Broncos in their first bracket game. Good hitting and great pitching notched a 5-2 victory for the Outlaws. After the win over the Broncos, next in line for the Outlaws were the strong Scorpions in a rematch from the night before. Once again the Scorpions proved to be too much too handle and the Outlaws were eliminated from the Tournament by the eventual second place team.
"We had a great season, and all the players contributed to the success," stated coach Bryan Beezley. "I had the opportunity to coach some of the best talent in Fannin County, but most of all I had the chance to coach some of the finest young men anywhere."
The Outlaws finished their season 22-10, finishing in the top 4 of every tournament they played with one 1st. place, and three 2nd. place finishes, and tied for 1st. place in the Nation for Super Series points.
"I'd like to wish all the players the best in their future endeavors, and I look forward to watching all these kids on the diamond during high school," Beezley said.

The Outlaws team is made up of players from Trenton, Anna, Ector, and Dodd City. Players include Wyatt Beezley, Bailey Burks, Clint Cowan, Billy Pilkinton, Garrett Puyear, Dylan McCarley, Brandon Stone, and Kyle Wylie all from Trenton.
