Ann Novak was born May, 1919 in Johnstown, PA and died June 25, 2009 in Bonham, TX.

Mrs. Novak was a devoted wife and mother.   She was recently preceded in death by George E. Novak, her loving husband of 62 years.  Her life was centered on her husband and their family.  Mrs. Novak was one of seven children of Yulian and Eva Chudik, of Conemaugh. 

Mrs. Novak is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, George J. and Eva Novak, her grandchildren,  Judianne Schneider, Sgt. Adam Novak, and Galina Novak.  Along with spouses of her grandchildren, Mrs. Novak’s family also includes one great-grandson, Jameson Novak. 

She will be missed by many nephews, nieces, sisters-in-law, and other family and friends.  Ann Chudik married George E. Novak on June 7, 1947.  Mr. and Mrs. Novak were long-time residents of Richland Township and parishioners of St. Benedict Church, until moving to Texas in 2005. 

There will be a memorial service for Mrs. Novak at 1:30 PM on Tuesday, June 30th, at St. Joseph Chapel Mausoleum in Johnstown, Pennsylvania.  At the time of her death, Mrs. Novak resided at the Clyde W. Cosper Texas State Veteran’s Home. 

In lieu of flowers, family and friends who wish to convey their sympathy may do with a donation in Mrs. Novak’s name to the Clyde W. Cosper Texas State Veteran’s Home, 1300 Seven Oaks Road, Bonham, Texas 75418.
