BBA Savages 11U baseball team takes second at Super Series Central National Qualifier

The BBA Savage 11U Select Baseball Team completed their summer tournament schedule with a second place finish at the Super Series Central National Qualifier last weekend.  

The Savages participated in seven tournaments this past spring and made it the championship game in three of the tournaments.  The team finished second in Irving at the Luck of the Irish Tournament and runner-up at the Memorial Day Shootout in Denton.  They ended their season with a final record of 15-13-1.   

The Savages earned enough points during the season to compete in the Super Series World Series in Colorado but will stay at home and represent their local All-Star teams instead.

Members of the team are:  Monty Babers, Clay Clemons, Jaxxon Hemby, Jordan Quintana, Austin Leatherwood, and Ty Odom - Bonham.  Quinton Anzaldua, Dakota Brown, and Holden Horton – Dodd City.  Colton Bruce and Lane Hardy – Sam Rayburn.  Cameron Fernandez – Paris.

Savages coaches are Landon Darwin, Brian Hardy, Jonathan Anzaldua, and Kevin Darwin.
