McKINNEY, Texas (June 23, 2009) – The McKinney Police and Fire departments are picking up their clubs to fight neighborhood crime. The 5th Annual Partners Against Crime Golf Play Day on Monday, June 29 at Eldorado Country Club, is hosted by the Partners Against Crime (PAC) program, a collaborative effort of McKinney public safety officers, residents, and city and county officials to reduce crime and bring education and awareness to drug prevention. Proceeds will benefit Serenity High School in McKinney.

“Serenity High School provides a safe education to students who have successfully completed drug and alcohol treatment. Not only does Serenity rebuild confidence and restore respect, but the educators take an active role in PAC by changing lives for the betterment of the entire community,” said Awareness and Education Officer Randy Haak.

Registration for the tournament starts at 8 a.m. on Monday, and spots for foursomes are still available for the rotating tee scramble. For information about cost and registering, contact Haak at 972-547-2795.
