Bonham, Texas -- Funeral services for Alline Barron, 82 of Irving, formerly of Bonham, will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, June 26, 2009 in Wise Funeral Home Chapel. Tim Lewis will officiate. Burial will follow in Willow Wild Cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 1:00 until service time, Friday.

Alline Barron entered her eternal walk with Jesus on June 22, 2009 in Irving,TX.  Born in Texarkana,TX Oct. 30, 1926 to William and Lenora Barron, she was the youngest sibling.  Survived by two sisters, Hazel Shea of Florence, AL and Maxine Eberle of Dallas, TX as well as numerous beloved nieces and nephews and their families whom she cherished deeply and always bragged upon.

 

She is  preceded in death by sisters Evelyn Hannum, Norine Walker, brothers, Howard, Chester and Earl Dee Barron, parents, Willliam and Lenora Barron and stepmother, Marie.   

 

Alline was raised in Bonham, Texas and was a 1944 graduate of Bonham High School.  She completed Draughons Business College in Dallas, Texas and worked as a secretary for several years before becoming disabled. She loved to sing and was known as an accomplished pianist, learning to read music at an early age.  

 

Alline is remembered for her bright smile and encouraging words.  A longtime resident of Ashford Hall Nursing Home in Irving, she showed her love and appreciation to residents and caregivers through her joyful disposition.
