Yesterday these Tom Bean Middle School Students were caught on camera by Tom Bean Mayor Sherry E. Howard and Tom Bean Public Works Supervisor John Sawyer selling lemonade at their stand downtown Tom Bean.  

The students, Colton Blomstedt and Brady Kannaday,  will be selling lemonade throughout the summer to earn extra money to fund some of their activities this year.  It was refreshing to see that young people are still willing to get out in the heat and work to earn money instead of staying at home all summer under the air conditioning  and playing on the computer all day.  

This brought back pleasant memories for both the mayor and the public works supervisor as they both remembered their younger days during the summer.  Come on out and help support these students endeavor to earn some money and by the way, the lemonade was very refreshing on a hot day like yesterday with temperatures reaching over 100 degrees.
