Bonham, Texas -- Funeral services for Mary Dell Robertson, 67, of Bonham, will be held at 10:00 AM Wednesday, June 24, 2009 in Wise Funeral Home Chapel.  Rev. Mickey Lyles will officiate.  Burial will follow in Elwood Cemetery.  Mary Dell passed away Sunday night, June 21, 2009 at Wilson N. Jones Medical Center in Sherman.

 

Mary Dell was born March 30, 1942 in the Elwood community of Fannin County, Texas, daughter of William Alexander Trent and Ruby Rue Trent.  She was a graduate of North Fannin High School in Ivanhoe.  Mary Dell married Floyd Robertson, May 31, 1974.  She was a member of Elwood Baptist Church and enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.  She was preceded in death by brothers, Lloyd Trent, Sr. and Gene Trent, and sisters Oleta Phillips, Arvilla Redmon and Florence English.

Husband:  Floyd Robertson of Bonham

Sons:  Jack Randall Morris  and Dennis Robertson, both of Bonham

           Len Robertson and Lewie Robertson and wife, Leann, all of Ivanhoe

Daughter:  Rhonda Hughes and husband, Gary of Bonham

                Margaret Yates and husband, Tony of Paris

Brother:  Ray Don Trent of Appleton, Wisconsin

17 Grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.

 

Grandsons will be pallbearers. 

 

The family will receive friends at Wise Funeral Home from 6:00 to 8:00 PM Tuesday night.
