WHAT: Second Annual KidSwing-McKinney Golf Tournament

 

Nine-hole, best-ball scramble for players ages 7 to 18

 

There is no entry fee, but participants are encouraged to raise $100 through family and friends who sponsor them.

 

Registration is open through July 6, 2009, via www.KidSwing.org.

 

WHEN:                       Monday, July 13, 2009

                                                8 a.m. – Registration

                                                9 a.m. – 9-hole Scramble Shotgun Start

                                                Noon – Lunch and Awards Program

                                                2 p.m. – Event concludes

ABOUT KIDSWING:   This will be the second KidSwing-McKinney golf tournament, an all-kids golf tournament benefiting TSRHC, to be held Monday, July 13 at Stonebridge Ranch Country Club in McKinney, Texas. It is a 9-hole, best-ball scramble for players ages 7 to 18, and every child who enters is encouraged to raise $100 for TSRHC by asking their friends and family to sponsor them. KidSwing-McKinney is similar to KidSwing-Dallas, founded in 2003 by former TSRHC patient Ben Sater, at age 11, to give back to the hospital for the care he received.
