Julianne Hough, professional dancing sensation and Country music star, brought sweet music to Grapevine recently without singing a note or dancing a step. Ms. Hough was in town to support Texas music.

Park Place Lexus hosted Julianne and introduced her to three amazing young artists: 10-year-old country sensation Chandler Bennett of Mansfield, 13-year-old blues guitarist Matt Tedder of Weatherford, and 15-year-old pop singer and dancer Hayley Orrantia of Highland Village; all who performed in support of the Texas Music Project.

The young talents reinforced the importance of music in our public schools. Texas Music Project is a non-profit organization whose primary mission is to restore and strengthen music education in Texas schools. Grapevine Opry was established in 1975 and today is a showcase and training ground for young talent.

Julianne rode into the showroom of Park Place Lexus Grapevine in a new 2010 IS Convertible, which will be coming out this fall. Julianne is the owner of a Park Place Lexus IS. The Texas Music Project appointed Julianne Hough as an Honorary Ambassador for Texas Music Education. The Grapevine Opry made Julianne an Honorary Member.

Julianne won her first “Dancing with the Stars” title in 2006 with Olympic speed skater Apolo Ohno. She followed it up by winning the 2007 season with three-time Indianapolis 500 champion Helio Castroneves. Park Place Lexus has dealerships in Grapevine and Plano, Texas as well as a dealership in Mission Viejo, California.

In 2005, Park Place Lexus became the first automobile dealership to win the Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award, the nation's highest award for organizational excellence. Founded in 1987, Park Place Dealerships represents luxury brands in Texas and California including smart, Mercedes-Benz, Porsche, Lexus, Volvo, Maserati, Bentley and Rolls-Royce.
