Senior members of the Garland Senior Activity Center, Garland, Texas visited the Perrin Air Force Base Historical Museum on Friday, June 12, 2009. The chartered bus of fifty senior citizens made a tour of Sky Dive Dallas at Whitewright,  lunched at Angela's Cafe in Denison, Texas and then they toured the museum at 4575 Airport Drive, North Texas Regional Airport-Perrin Field.

A historical video of Perrin Field from 1941 until its closing in 1971 was shown, followed by personal guides who are volunteers and who were actually assigned to duty at Perrin Air Force Base prior to the final base closing on July 31, 1971.
