Denton -- The Bonham Lady Warriors made it two in a row by eliminating the Sanger Lady Indians with their second of impressive playoff win, 10-5.  Bonham had won the bi-district series opener, 5-0.

The Lady Warriors will advance in the playoffs to face Fort Worth Castleberry in the area round in a contest that could possibly be played as soon as Thursday.

Bonham softball fans are familiar with several schools that have made it to the second round of action in the Region II-3A playoffs.  Celina, North Lamar, Princeton, Pittsburg, Kennedale, New Boston, Lovejoy, Prosper, Crandall and New Boston are among the area round competitors.

A win by Bonham in the area round would mean the Lady Warriors would face the Celina - Kennedale winner in a contest the UIL stipulates must be played before May 19.
