The Celeste Blue Devils scored three runs in the top of the seventh inning to slip past Dodd City, 6-3.
Celeste had gone up 3-0 in the top of the fifth inning before Dodd City pulled even at 3-3 in the bottom of the sixth. However, Celeste answered the challenge with three runs in their next at-bat to win the game.
Celeste's Beau Godwin threw a four hitter to get the win.
The Hornets' Ethan Stephens and Seth Stephens each had two hits, while Godwin shut down the remainder of the line-up.
Dodd City's Will Reed took the loss.
The Hornets are now 6-7 in district and 8-10 for the year.
