Savoy High School's Tracy Dillard capped off a memorable senior year by winning a Sheriffs' Association of Texas Academic Scholarship. Fannin County Sheriff Kenneth Moore presented the award to Ms. Dillard and congratulated her for the achievement.

Sheriffs' Association of Texas Academic Scholarships are awarded each year to a son, daughter or grandchild of a sheriff, former sheriff, sheriff's office employee or peace officer serving the state of Texas and pursuing a degree.
Tracy's mother, Kim Dillard, is a Leonard Police Officer.

After graduating from Savoy High School, Tracy plans on attending Sam Houston State University in Huntsville, Texas.
"That is a good school for law enforcement," remarked Sheriff Moore.
Currently, however, Tracy is leaning towards her father's chosen profession. Kevin Dillard is the ag teacher at Savoy High School.
