Cool the rhetoric Rick …

Texas Gov. Rick Perry is unwilling to accept the ‘oppressive hand’ of the federal government.

“I believe the federal government has become oppressive. It’s become oppressive in its size, its intrusion in the lives of its citizens, and its interference in the affairs of our state […].

“We think its time to draw the line in the sand and tell Washington that no longer are we going to accept their oppressive hand in the state of Texas.”

Would you like some tea with that hypocrisy Governor?

April 10: Gov. Rick Perry is asking FEMA to issue an emergency dcclaration for 199 Texas counties dealing with wildfire threats.

March 31: Gov. Perry asks the federal government to send 1,000 to the border.

October 27, 2008: Gov. Perry requests 18 month extension of Federal Aid for Ike debris removal.

I suppose Rick Perry is planning to run as President of Texas. Of course he’ll have Chuck Norris as an opponent. But he’ll have the full support of Glenn Beck and Great van Susteren and all his other ‘patriot’  supporters.

Sorry to hear America is not good enough for you Mr. Perry. 

Fortunately you’re in the minority.
