Kayla Leanne Hopkins and Derek Lee Bohannon of Ector will wed August 1 at Ector Baptist Church in Ector.  Officiating will be Morris Cook.

Hopkins is the daughter of Chris and Sherry Hopkins and Donnie and Sandra Lankford, all of Ector.  She is a 2006 graduate of Ector High School, and is pursuing a bachelor's degree in pre-Physical Therapy at Texas A&M University-Commerce.

Bohannon is the son of Gary and Dawn Bohannon of Ector.  He is a 2005 graduate of Ector High School, and will graduate this May from Texas A&M University-Commerce with a bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering.
