02-27-09 A Colony, Texas resident reported to Deputy James Scott that someone had entered his boat slip at Cedar Mills Resort and took a flat screen T.V., laptop computer, DVD’s C.B. Radio and assorted tools all valued at over $900.00 from his cuddy cabin. The owner gave a description of possible suspects and recovered some of his DVDs. Evidence was gathered at the scene and taken to the Sheriff’s Office.
02-27-09 Deputy Brent Norris answered a call of a Burglary of a Boat at Cedar Mills Marina. Upon arrival he spoke with the owner of the boat from Nocona, Texas. The owner stated someone pried open the cabin to the living quarters and took a flat screen T.V. valued at $600.00. Evidence from the scene was collected and taken back to the Sheriff’s Office for processing.
02-27-09 Sgt. Sean Lewers responded to Hwy-377 Boat Storage near Gordonville. The Plano, Texas man said he had his 5th wheel motor home storage in the fenced lot and someone broke a window out to gain entry. Taken was a 2 - Flat Screen Televisions. A search of the area turned up the man’s televisions on another trailer with other items taken from the storage area. It appeared the thieves might have been scared away and left some items.
02-27-09 Deputy Brent Norris met with a Dallas, Texas man who stated someone entered his boat while stored at Cedar Mills Marina near Gordonville. The man said once inside the boat, the thieves took a Flat Screen T.V., Binoculars, DVD Player and other electronics valued at over $500.00.
02-27-09 Deputy Brent Norris met with an Allen, Texas man who stated his boat had been broken into while docked at Cedar Mills Marina near Gordonville. The hatch cover going down into the living quarters had been broken and electronics, binoculars and several bottles of liquor were taken from the boat. Deputy Norris collected evidence from the scene.
02-27-09 A Denton, Texas man reported to Sgt. Sean Lewers that someone had entered his travel trailer stored at the Hwy-377 Boat Storage near Gordonville. The owner advised someone had pried the door open to the trailer to gain entry and took two flat screen televisions. Sgt. Sean Lewers located the stolen televisions on a small trailer, but extensive damage was done to the inside of the travel trailer.
02-27-09 Deputy Brent Norris met with a Flower Mound, Texas man who reported his boat had been broken into at his boat slip at Cedar Mills Marina. A check of the boat, except for the damage to the boat, showed nothing at this time could be found missing.
02-27-09 Deputy Chris Gautier responded to Starr Road where a Denison man reported his pick-up window was broken out. The man gave Deputy Gautier a description of a vehicle that was driving close to them and honking the horn. As soon as they pulled onto Starr Road east of Denison off of FM-69, the back window of his truck shattered. It is undetermined at this point if the window was broken out by something they threw at it or it was shot out by something.
03-01-09 Deputy Josh Price met with a Dallas, Texas man who stated his boat had been broken into his boat while it was docked at Cedar Mills Marina on Lake Texoma. Man advised a tool bag of assorted tools were taken and damage to the cabin lock was more extensive.
03-01-09 Deputy Josh Price met with another Dallas, Texas resident who stated that his boat was also broken in to sometime in the last 3-months at Cedar Mills Marina on Lake Texoma. A C.B. Radio, Tackle Box with assorted tools, and a tool pouch with assorted tools were taken.
03-01-09 Deputy Joe Shires took a Burglary of a Building Report from a Providence Village, Texas resident at the Hwy-377 Boat Storage facility. The man said his travel trailers window was broken to gain entry. Taken was assorted tools, assorted power tools, electronics and an air compressor valued at over $800.00.
