Sgt. Sean Lewers received a call of a Burglary of a Building on the FM-289 project site.  The foreman said sometime during the night someone pried open the door of the storage building and removed over $800.00 worth of computer equipment.

Sgt. Sean Lewers responded to another site on the 289 construction.  The site manager advised Sgt. Lewers sometime between Friday night and Saturday morning by cutting the lock on the storage building.  Taken were 3 water pumps, gas can and assorted tools all valued at over $1,900.00.

Deputy Ryan Miller responded to  Burglary of a Motor vehicle call on Springtown Road near Van Alstyne.  The complainant advise Deputy Miller that sometime during the night, someone broke into his utility trailer.  An inventory will be taken on the trailer to determine what and how much was taken.

 

A resident at a motel north of Pottsboro reported to Deputy Joe Ross that someone have entered the motel room and took a laptop computer valued at $2,800.00. 

 

The owner of land east of town reported to Deputy Josh Price that someone had removed two batteries valued at $100.00 each from his golf cart.

 

An inspector for HUD discovered someone had removed a hot water heater and damaged the carpet with water during the removal of it from a HUD house near Whitewright.  The estimated replacement cost and water damage at $500.00.

 

A mortgage company representative was checking on a home that had been foreclosed on north west of Denison and discovered several light fixtures, garage door opener, outside AC unit, dishwasher and approximately 250 feet of wooden fence were taken.  The agent said he would compile a listing of items and values taken from the residence and forward a copy to the Sheriff’s Office.
