Red hearts, pink ribbons and cards are cropping up everywhere, replacing the Christmas wrappings and trappings on store shelves. February 14 approaches and January diets go out the window. Pulses sometimes race a little faster, and chocolate becomes popular again. With Valentine’s Day less than a month away, guys and gals everywhere deliberate where to go with their sweethearts to celebrate.
This year, the Red River Community Theatre (RRCT) offers an evening of great entertainment and great food with love in the air. On February 6 and 7, RRCT presents It’s All About Love, featuring a variety of music, dance and entertainment. The theme is love, of course - all love, all evening long. Theatre-goers will be treated to a scrumptious candlelight hors d’oeurves bar in addition to the impressive line-up of visiting and local performing artists, including poets, vocalists, ballroom dancers, a concert pianist, Elvis impersonator and an accomplished professional ventriloquist. The evening promises to be one you and your sweetheart will enjoy and at an affordable price.
Performances are Friday and Saturday evenings, February 6 and 7 at 7 PM at the Windom Performing Arts Center (formerly the Old Windom School). Ticket price of $8 includes the performance and the candlelight hors d’oeuvres bar. Reservations are suggested but not required; there will be limited seating at the door.
