Terri Hendrix has canceled the remainder of her January bookings due to a family medical emergency, involving her mother having to have brain surgery. However, she wanted to reschedule quickly with Harmony House, and we have already decided upon Sunday, May 3, '09, 3-5 pm. Please mark that date on your calendars now!! I will notify you who had reservations to her Jan. 25th show here first (before sending out an early press release/e-notice), so you can get on that May Reservation List early.
Michael Terry, who books for Uncle Calvin's Coffeehouse in Dallas, recommended Curtis & Loretta, a husband-wife duo from MN to replace Hendrix at Harmony House on Jan. 25. Curtis & Loretta play a whole whirlwind of stringed instruments & sing vocal harmonies in a host of traditional folk tunes (mostly from the British Isles) & their own originals!!
Hence, the Harmony House Concert will go on as planned, featuring Curtis & Loretta, on Sunday, January 25, '09, 3-5 pm, $15 per person, with Potluck afterward.
