Allen - Early results from Wednesday's regional tennis tournament:

Bonham's girls doubles team of Micah Tucker and Jennifer Jones won their opening match 6-1, 6-1 against Gainesville.

Van Alstyne's Layton McLaughlin defeated Leland Starks of Gladewater 6-1, 3-6, 6-3.

Center's Eve Andrews and Chelsea Reeves defeated Bonham's Crystal Glaser and Crystal Vaughan 6-0, 6-2.

Van Alstyne's April Beaumont and Ashley Beaumont lost to Lindale 6-3, 6-3.

Bonham's Blake Bethel and Chris Dickson lost to Kaufman 6-1, 7-5.

Princeton's Beau Theimer and Joey Mongognia lost to Lindale 6-0, 6-2.

North Lamar's Mark Taylor defeated Center's Chris Wesp 6-1, 6-3.

Farmersville's Jamie Nanez defeated Center's Ryan Keele 7-5, 7-5.

Van Alstyne's Robert Nickells and Austin McLaughlin lost to Center 7-6, 6-4.
