Artist Katherine Kluger and and her students at the Valley Creek Studio made pottery birdhouses to help the Fannin County Family Crisis Center raise funds for the center.  These birdhouses are very unique and each one is different.  They will be auctioned off at the center’s Fundraising Dinner and Auction in February.

This birdhouse was made by beginning student Sarah Cannon. This along with six others that are equally creative, will be up for auction at an upcoming event.

Other artwork done by Ms. Kluger includes drawings, paintings, pottery, ceramic and found object sculpture.  Her artworks have been included in local, regional, and national exhibitions including the Holter Museum of Art, Helena, Montana and the San Angelo Museum of Fine Art, San Angelo, Texas.   Ms. Kluger holds both a Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts and a Master of Science degree in Art from Texas A&M University.
