The annual “North Texas Cattleman’s Conference” for 2008 will be held on Friday, November 7 at Myers Park and Event Center, so mark your calendars now for this very popular event.
The Cattleman’s Conference is a multi-county event with Collin, Denton, Grayson and Cooke Extension Offices offering the most recent information concerning the cattle industry.
This year, we have several speakers from Extension, the Noble Foundation, the Texas Beef Council and the Texas Department of Agriculture on timely topics of interest for cattle producers both large and small.
The registration fee will be $15 per attendee and will include lunch and all handout materials. A trade show with several different agri-business sponsors will be set up at the conference for viewing of their products and services during breaks.
Four CEU’s will also be offered for those that have their Pesticide Applicators License. The conference will begin with registration at 8:00-8:30 and will conclude at about 3:30. Please make plans to attend.
Early registration can be completed on or before Tuesday, November 4th by calling the Collin County Extension office at (972) 548-4233.
