Commerce Police arrest 5 in narcotic search warrant

Tactical officers with the Commerce Police Department served a search warrant at an apartment in the Crosswinds Apartment complex around 5:30 am on March 28, 2008.  The warrant was obtained after a lengthy investigation into drug trafficking at this residence.   

Officers located five individuals inside the apartment, four males and one female.  After a search was conducted, officers found a large amount of a substance believed to be marijuana, electronic scales, and cash.   

All persons inside the residence were arrested and transported to Commerce PD for booking.  They are identified as follows: 

1):        Dow Gene Guynes, W/M, 23 yoa of Commerce. 

2).        Brandon Wayne Guynes, W/M, 21 yoa of Commerce. 

3).        Lee Clark Wallace, W/M, 22 yoa, of Campbell. 

4).        Donald Clint Fugitt, W/M, 23 yoa of Cumby. 

5).        Natasha Desiree Hamm, W/F, 21 yoa of Cumby. 

All were charged with Possession of Marijuana over 4 ounces, but less than 5 lbs.  They were arraigned by Justice of the Peace Jennifer Reeves.  Bond was set at $15,000 each. 

This case is still under investigation and more charges are likely.
