Campaign 2008 Family Day: Get Elected!

Dallas, TX – Family Day: Get Elected! is a great opportunity for families with kids ages 5-14 to have fun together by learning about presidential election history.  Children will “run for president” by designing their own campaign buttons and hats.  Parents and teens can challenge each other with presidential trivia.  Plus, enter your chance to be a winner in our prize drawing. 

Also, don’t miss out on the last day to register to vote in this year’s presidential election.  Thanks to the League of Women Voters, citizens will have the chance to register to vote in the Museum Visitors’ Center during the event.  A $2 discount is available for all registered voters. 

Where: The Sixth Floor Museum at Dealey Plaza, 411 Elm Street, Dallas

When:  Sunday, October 5, 12 to 5 p.m.

Price:     Free with paid admission to the Museum: $13.50 adults, $12.50 youth (6-18) and seniors (65+), free 5 years and under (or $3.50 with audio guide).

Offers: Audio guides for the permanent exhibit are available in seven languages, including a youth version in English.
