Construction is now full steam ahead!

Bonham, Texas – July 17, 2007 - - Habitat for Humanity of Fannin County is very excited to announce that the Honey Grove home is now officially under construction.

Concrete was poured on Wednesday of last week and now it’s volunteers on the site swinging hammers starting now!

“We were so excited to have the concrete poured,” says Board President Lisbeth Echeandia. “We’ve had some delays in getting started and now we’ll be moving at full speed to get the Ray home built.”

And of course Habitat always needs more volunteers!

“We have many great volunteers lined up, but we need more. The Honey Grove community has responded with enthusiasm and commitment to our request for help but we know we’ll need additional volunteers from around the county. If you’re interested in getting involved – and our great construction crew will help you learn new skills, we guarantee – please call Eva Fryar our Volunteer Coordinator at 903.640.1439.”

In addition to construction volunteers Habitat needs volunteers in many other areas so do call if you have an interested in being involved with this great organization.
