Upon arrival Deputy Scott learned that a 12-year-old of Plano was at their boat slip with other adults and was throwing water balloons toward a 65-year-old man from Hickory Creek, Texas boat slip. Witnesses said the 65-year-old man came down the boat slip with a large pipe in his hand yelling and screaming. The 12-year-old boy tried to run past him, but the man grabbed his shirt making him fall on his knees. Two men, a parent and another man, ran to the 12-year-old boy and got him loose from the man. The 65-year-old Hickory Creek man was arrested for Assault by Physical contact and was taken to the Grayson County Jail and was released after posting a $500.00 cash bond.
A woman hosting a party in her neighborhood west of Denison near Pottsboro told Deputy James Scott that while hosting the party, 2 men who said they lived in the area came into the back yard and started drinking beer. A short time later, the complainant went into the house to get some things and when she returned the two men were gone along with the keg of beer.

The homeowner told Deputy Norris that around 10pm someone knocked on the door, but could not see anyone when the outside lights were turned on. When got up the next morning to work in the yard, it was discovered that someone had pried open the garage door and took a chainsaw and a miter saw valued at over $100.00.
