Bill Grant, Amy Patrick, Welch Mountain Boys all at Chrystal Opry House July 19

The Melody Ranch Band will perform classic country, and gospel music at the Chrystal Opry House this Saturday night, July 19. Members of the band are Deborah Leake, vocals, George Kirby, fiddle, Mike Gattis, vocals and lead guitar, Tom Hackney, rhythm guitar and vocals, Randy Keister, dobro, Mike Vaughan, drums, Gregg Gunter, bass and vocals, and Bill Hayes, vocals and guitar.

Special guest this month is Bill Grant from Hugo, Oklahoma. Bill is widely known as an ambassador of Bluegrass music and hosted a Bluegrass Festival at Hugo for 35 years. He has received many awards.

The most prestigious was the IBMA's "Distinguished Achievement Award" for his contributions to Bluegrass Music (singing and/or promoting) of which Bill has done both. He is an honored member of the "Old Time Country Music Hall of Fame". With him on stage will be Amy Patrick and the Welch Mountain Boys.

Doors open at 6:00 P.M. The program begins at 7:00 P.M. There is a $6 admission charge for this program with children under 12 admitted free with a paying adult. Refreshments/sandwiches are available.

The Chrystal Opry House is located one and a half miles west of Tom Bean or 6 miles east of Howe and a half mile south of FM 902 on White Mound Road. No alcohol is permitted and there is no smoking inside the building.
