Bonham -- The Board of Directors of Fannin Bank, Bonham is pleased to announce the appointment of Allen R. Sanderson to the position of President and Director.
Sanderson comes to Fannin Bank from the First National Bank of Bells/Savoy where he served as Executive Vice President, Director and Chief Lending Officer. Previous to being associated with First National Bells/Savoy, Sanderson served as President and Director of Bonham State Bank, Bonham.
A native of Bonham and a 1971 graduate of Bonham High School and a graduate of East Texas State University, Sanderson has been involved in the banking industry since 1975. He has served in various management capacities in financial institutions in the North Texas area.
Sanderson has been very involved in the communities he has served. Presently, he serves as President of the Bonham Independent School District Board of Trustees and as a senior active member of the Bonham Rotary Club. He is Past Chairman of the Bonham, McKinney and Lewisville Chambers of Commerce, and a Founding Director of the McKinney and Bonham Education Foundation.
