Brittny Morgan Washington is a 17-year-old senior at Wolfe City High School. She is the daughter of Ronny & Sherrie Jackson. She is graduating Wolfe City High as the Salutatorian. Throughout her high school career she has been active in many different clubs & organizations, as well as maintaining an excellent academic record and being on the Principal's Honor Roll every year.
She was the vice president of her class her freshman, sophomore & junior years. This year she served as secretary of the senior class. Brittny has also been active in the Spanish Club, National Honor Society & Key Club. She was an officer in all of these organizations. She is also a member of the Thespian Society, Future Business Leaders of America & Student Council. Brittny has also been a nominee of the National Honor Roll, People to People Leadership Program & Leadership America.

During her high school career Brittny has also been involved in many volunteer projects. She has been a part of the Mt. Carmel clean-up, Adopt-a-Highway clean up, PTO concession stand, Reading Wolf (With our little fans) at Wolfe City Elementary, a Smith Nursing Home volunteer & helped with Vacation Bible School at the First Baptist Church in Wolfe City. This year she also volunteered with the Special Olympics at an event that was hosted in Wolfe City.
Brittny has also been very active in the athletic program in Wolfe City. She has been a member of the Varsity track team her freshman year. She played volleyball her freshman, sophomore & senior years. She has been a member of the Varsity softball team all four years. She was given the Most Improved Player award her sophomore year as a member of the varsity volleyball team.
She was named to the District All Academic Team in volleyball her senior year. She was a first team All-District selection her first three years in softball. Her freshman year as a Designated Hitter, sophomore year as 1st Base & junior year as 1st Team Pitcher. This year she received an Honorable Mention selection.
For Wolfe City she has been named Defensive Player of the Year as a junior for softball & MVP her senior year in softball. Brittny also plays competitive softball for an ASA team called the Texas Spice out of Caddo Mills.
Throughout her high school career Brittny has worked hard to maintain her academic record. She has managed to do this all while being involved in the various clubs & organizations, as well as being an excellent student/athlete. Her hard work has paid off in the classroom as well as on the field. Brittny was awarded a full scholarship to play softball at Ft. Scott Community College in Ft. Scott, Kansas.
While at Ft. Scott she will be working on obtaining a degree in nursing. She hopes to continue her college career at a four year university, where she will get her Bachelors of Science in Nursing with a specialization in pediatrics.
