DURANT, Okla. -- For the second year in a row, Southeastern Oklahoma State University officials are looking to cut energy costs in the summer months by implementing a 10-hour, 4-day work week beginning June 2 and continuing through August 1.

Under the summer schedule, University employees will continue to work 40 hours a week (Monday-Thursday, 7 a.m. to 6 p.m.). Public office hours will remain from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Monday-Thursday. University offices will be closed on Fridays.

The University implemented this schedule for the first time last summer.

For the past several years, summer school classes have met on a Monday-Thursday schedule, and that will continue to be the case.
