Texas Department of Transportation officials met with representatives of R. K. Hall Construction, LTD of Paris, Texas on Wednesday, March 26, 2008 to discuss traffic safety and construction procedures to be used during the upcoming asphaltic concrete pavement overlay and FM 131 in Grayson County.
The primary intent of this contract is to remove asphaltic concrete pavement, HMAC overlay, curb ramp construction and pavement markings.. R. K. Hall Construction, LTD. has been granted 21 working days to complete this $243,699.70 project. The Contractor is scheduled to begin work on Thursday, May 15, 2008. The road is to remain open to traffic and access to private property will be provided at all times.
The traveling public is requested to observe all warning signs, and to be aware of lane closures and detours. Caution and reduced speed is imperative when approaching these work zones due to the magnitude of the volume of traffic.
