Rotary Club Golf Tournament held at Legacy Ridge Country Club

On May 3, the Bonham Rotary Club held their fifth annual Legacy Of Service Golf Tournament at Legacy Ridge Country Club. The Bonham Rotary Club wishes to thank the following who so generously donated and made this annual event a success.

Prizes were awarded to every team according to their score. The top three places went to: First Place: Northeast Medical Center Home Health team of Jon Sisk, Heath Weissert, Danny Stroud and Brian Baccus. Second Place: Larry and Nancy Lawrence team of Larry Lawrence, Nancy Lawrence, Wade Guinn and Gary Nelson. Third Place: Glaser Family Trust team of Jim Glaser, Rick Bankston, Nathan Blankenship and Joe Cary. 
   
Hole prizes were awarded on sixteen of the eighteen holes. The winners were:

Jerry Dyson won the Taylor-made driver by winning the putting contest.
   
The Bonham Rotary Club wishes to thank April Peterson who volunteers every year to work the registration table.
   
This golf tournament is the only fund raiser that the Bonham Rotary Club has each year. With the support of our community, the Bonham Rotary Club will be able to continue their many worthwhile programs such as giving dictionaries to every third grade student in Fannin County, educational scholarships, wheelchairs for the disabled around the world, scouting programs for boys and girls, drug prevention programs, best citizenship awards for the local schools, support and participation int he Special Olympics, and many other philanthropic programs throughout the year.
