The Wolfe City track team made it's way to Nacogdoches this weekend for the Region III 1-A track meet, and it was a successful visit to say the least.
Three Wolfe City athletes qualified for state in four events.
James King placed second in the long jump with a jump of 22'0".
King also placed second in the 200 meter run with a time of 22:40.
B.K. Scott won the discus with a throw of 145'7".
Kealey Gaffney won the girls 100 meter hurdles with a time of 16.60.
The boys 4x100 and 4x200 relays made it to regionals also, but unfortunately didn't make it to the finals.
