The Savoy Cardinals picked up their first win in district play on Friday by topping the Ector Eagles 14-4.

Matt Foster picked up his 4th win of the year, striking out 12 while allowing five hits and four runs.

John Morris led the Cardinals with a 4-4 day including 4 RBIs. Foster helped himself with two hits, including a double. Kyle Restuccio chipped in a hit and 5 RBIs. Rolen, Metcalf, and Miller all added hits for the Cardinals.
