Savoy - Funeral services for Mrs. Dorothy Nell Johnson age 78 of Savoy will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, March 21, 2008 at New Zion Baptist Church.  Officiating will be Rev. Rodney Sprayberry.  Interment will follow in Carson Cemetery near Ector.

Mrs. Johnson passed away Tuesday, March 18, 2008 in Red River Regional Hospital in Bonham.  She was born on July 22, 1929 in Bonham, the daughter of the late Troy and Foy Pierce Boyer.  Mrs. Johnson was married to Henry Eldon Johnson on July 5, 1947 in Bonham, he preceded her in death on April 8, 2007.  She was a homemaker and a member of the New Zion Baptist Church.

She is survived by her Sons - Jerry Johnson of Paris; Douglas Johnson of Valley View, TX. and Darrell Johnson of Savoy.  Grandchildren - Leah Ann Johnson and Cortlen John Dempsey Johnson.  Sister - Louise Davenport of Euless, TX.

Pallbearers will be Bill Wyatt, Rodney Russell, Lazell Blagburn, Johnny Thomas, Marvin Fortune and Jason Watkins. 

The family will receive friends from 7-8PM Thursday night at Cooper-Sorrells Funeral Home in Bonham.
