The Wolfe City Lady Wolves suffered a tough loss in the playoffs Tuesday night in Gunter against the Lindsay Lady Knights.
Score: 25-18, 25-21, 28-26
"We were in every game, but it just came down to critical errors," said Wolfe City head coach Corey Jenkins. "We played as a team and that I'm very proud of. Lindsay was a great team and played a very consistent game."
"I am so proud of the girls and the success they have had this season,"added Coach Jenkins. "We fought hard all season and played a lot of tough games, had a lot of fun, and surprised some people along the way. Our seniors (Haley Giles, Mandy Bruce, Brittney Miller, and Brittny Washington), will be missed. I'm lucky to have coached this crew this season and with our returning members, I feel we will have success again next year."
