With style, shimmer and a hint of mystery, Park Place Maserati recently unveiled the 2008 Maserati GranTurismo to an exclusive group of invited guests.

In keeping with the theme of rare beauty, deBoulle displayed exquisite jewelry, Stanley Korshak featured breathtaking Italian fashions, and Scott + Cooner showcased luxurious leather lounge seating. Guests were treated to delicious culinary creations by David Bull, executive chef of Bolla, the new Italian restaurant at The Stoneleigh Hotel. The event raised more than $2,800 for Wipe Out Kids' Cancer, a 26-year-old, Dallas-based non-profit whose mission is to eradicate pediatric cancer by funding innovative research, education and treatment, while providing hope to children affected with cancer. A magnificent combination of beauty and brawn, the new Maserati GranTurismo features a low, sleek signature with gracious curves. But under the polished hood is a powerful 4.2-liter V8 that churns out 405 horses to propel the sporty four-seater from 0-to-60 mph in 5.1 seconds with a top-end of 177 mph. With an MSRP of $130,000, the new GranTurismo is expected to be a major challenger in the luxury sports sedan market.

Equipped with a six-speed automatic transmission with an adaptive control system that automatically adjusts for driving style and conditions, the rear-wheel drive GranTurismo features an electronically controlled suspension, Brembo braking system and 19-inch alloy wheels. Park Place Maserati is located at 5300 Lemmon Avenue, near Love Field, in Dallas.

Celebrating its 20th Anniversary, Park Place Dealerships represents luxury brands in Texas and California including Maserati, Mercedes-Benz, Porsche, Lexus, Volvo, Rolls-Royce and Bentley. More information at www.parkplacetexas.com.
